    born Edinburgh
    1970
    saw Strategy Get Arts exhibition
    1975
    screenprinted in garden shed
    1980
    Fine Art degree at Middlesex Poly
    1985
    went to a really good party and had a really bad exhibition
    1990
    worked as commercial photographer
    1995
    carried on taking pictures and started making some art again
    2000
    decided that making art was what really mattered
